Trained at the Royal College of Art, Alison established her studio/workshop in Norfolk in 1980.

Her current work uses a combination of gold and silver in both jewellery and small silverware with a particular emphasis on using contrasting surface effects on the metals and the light reflecting qualities that can be achieved in forged work. The jewellery is designed to be equally suitable for both everyday and more formal wear and to gain qualities from being worn.

She supplies galleries countrywide and exhibits locally.
