I have been passionate about wood from an early age.

The colours, textures and feel of one of earth’s oldest materials are a continuing inspiration from my creations.

My love of crafting fine work stems from early childhood days helping my father and uncle with domestic furniture projects. Spending time in my uncle’s workshop at the age of 11 and using his specialised woodworking tools was a revelation! I knew from then that I wanted to work creatively with my hands.
