I make individual and functional pots for everyday use in the home. The stoneware pots are fired

in a reducing atmosphere in a gas kiln to a temperature of 1300%.
I use a combination of Oriental glazes in

a contemporary manner, sometimes layering one over another with wax resist. I hope the decoration I use enhances the form and reflects my personality.

 

Glaze experimentation is ongoing.

 

In addition I make planters for the garden using a robust clay that makes them frost hardy.
