Ruthanne Tudball specialises in throwing on the wheel and manipulating the clay while wet making forms that capture the soft plasticity of the clay and have both dignity and a lively freshness.

The pots are mainly stoneware with some porcelain and are soda vapour glazed with bicarbonate of soda in a gas/wood fired kiln and are fired to 1300C. Ruthanne is a pioneer of soda vapour glazing in this country and has written a book on the subject, 'Soda Glazing' published by A&C Black.

The pottery is one mile directly south off the A47. Visitors are welcome but it is advisable to telephone if you are making a special journey.
